Past Donors

Telus dollars for doers has been especially generous this past year. We have been fortunate enough to receive several cheques from this Telus sponsor. We were able to purchase yarn in “boy” colours for our volunteers to use, and the funds have helped us cope with the larger rent expenses.

Helen Lefeaux Inc hosted a fashion show of young designer fashions. The inspiration from these creators was intoxicating. Caring Hearts was the recipient of the proceeds from the show. We appreciate the time and effort spent to provide this funding to us.

Shaw is a continual supporter and we are lucky to be rewarded with funds that help us throughout the year.

City of Surrey has awarded us a grant to be used. We appreciate their support that will enable us to purchase materials for our volunteers to use.
Thank you to Lululemon for their most generous donation.

We would like to express our thanks to all those who have helped Caring Hearts financially these past months especially.

Kwantlen school who raised over $400 for us at a bake sale.

Rami Omosura with his company "Eccleotaster Entertainment" produced an evening of music in Vancouver for us. Several local dancing & singing groups performed for fans in May. We had a great night and an eyeopener of terrific local talent. We were the lucky recipients of $500 from the proceeds of the concert.

In June we were awarded the Toskan Foundation reward, we received this through the hard work of several YPI students from the Port Moody secondary school. Their presentation to the board of the charity and its functions was well received and financially rewarded.

We were the recipients of funds raised at a coat drive hosted by Peter Kinch Canadian Mortgage team. We also distributed over 300 coats that they collected to lower mainland programs ensuring that all children were kept warm this winter season.

Our latest windfall is from being chosen by over 100 people visiting the lululemon store in Vancouver. As part of lululemon's charitable giving program we were one of the few local charities that received funds by choices made by patrons and employees. We were very surprised by the donation and express our thanks to all that made us their choice.

We also want to thank those individuals who have donated material & yarn to our charity. We have received a large donation of yarn & notions from Ms Finkbeiner. We also have received several deliveries of fabric from Ms Diedrich. We also thank those who have given us the many balls of donated yarn and pieces of fabric that have been crafted for the children.

"Just Imagine" in Vancouver kindly collected donations for us, we thank you for helping.
